In 1972, with just a rented building, a handful of sewing machines and three month's severance pay, Earl Beard created Earl's Apparel under the principles of hard work and high quality, durable garments.

More than 40 years on, the Stan Ray brand - named after Earl's youngest son, Stanley - is still centred in Crockett, Texas, making clothes that are designed for wear and movement, with minimum fuss and maximum practicality.
